True Value price levels calculated locally with TV-1 rounding and one-step strategy

Shipped in Margin Master 2026.1008.35985 · October 9, 2026

True Value variable pricing levels (Level 1, 1.5, and 2) are now calculated on your computer from the pricing rules synced from the cloud and your store's suggested retail, rather than being computed in the cloud. This includes a new TV-1 rounding scheme that matches True Value's rounding table and a one-step strategy builder for stores pricing on True Value levels.

What changed

Local True Value level calculation

After syncing vendor data, your True Value price levels reflect your current suggested retails immediately, using the same pricing rules and rounding that True Value's variable pricing program uses.

TV-1 rounding scheme

Use the TV-1 rounding scheme on your pricing steps to round prices the same way True Value's Level 1, 1.5, and 2 do.

One-step True Value strategy builder

On Options › Store Information, pick your True Value program level and click "Create True Value Strategy" to add a strategy that prices every item at that level. It won't become active until you choose it, so you can review and add your own steps first.

New True Value sync tables replace cloud-computed levels

After your next vendor data sync, True Value price levels will be calculated from the current pricing rules rather than pre-computed retails from the cloud.

True Value levels fall back per SKU to Do it Best ladder

Items without a True Value price level now show Do it Best pricing instead of blank levels.
